Questions we get
about once a week.

Booking, scheduling, ceramic coating warranty, service area, and the rest. If your question isn't here, send us a message.

Booking & Scheduling

How do I book?

Use the Book button anywhere on the site — it opens our booking shop where you pick the service tier, vehicle, and a date. Most appointments are confirmed within an hour. You can also call (240) 888-9606 if you prefer.

Do you require a deposit?

Higher-tier services and ceramic coatings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the slot. Deposits transfer to a rescheduled appointment if you give us at least 48 hours notice.

How long does a service take?

A full detail typically takes 4–8 hours and is same-day. Ceramic coating jobs are 1–3 days depending on prep correction needed and which package you choose. We confirm timing with you on inspection.

What if it rains on my appointment day?

Mobile detailing is weather-dependent. We monitor forecasts and reach out the day before if rescheduling looks likely. Rescheduled appointments incur no fees.

Service Area & Logistics

Where do you operate?

Mobile-only across Harford County, MD primarily, plus the I-95 corridor (Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's counties, and Washington DC). Outside the area? Send a message — we travel for fleet and high-tier work.

What do you need from me on appointment day?

A driveway or covered space (for ceramic coating cure) and access to a standard outlet and water spigot. We bring everything else — water reclaim, power, lighting, products. If you don't have water available, let us know — we can carry our own supply.

Can you work in a garage or covered space?

Yes — preferred for ceramic coating and paint correction. A garage gives us control over dust, sun, and weather. Direct sun exposure during coating application is the only thing we genuinely can't work around.

Ceramic Coatings & Warranty

How long does the ceramic coating warranty last?

Opti-Coat Pro3 comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty registered in your name and against your VIN. CWX Pro fleet warranty is 5 years. Maintenance per the warranty terms is required to keep it active.

What's the difference between Opti-Coat Pro3 and store-bought coatings?

Pro3 is not a retail product — it can only be applied by certified shops, of which we are one. The chemistry is different (longer-chain SiC vs. shorter SiO₂), the bonding to clear coat is different, and the warranty is registered with the manufacturer rather than self-administered.

Do I really need paint correction before coating?

Yes, and most reputable detailers will tell you the same. Coating locks in whatever is on the paint — including swirls, water spots, and bonded contamination. Skipping correction means sealing in flaws for the warranty period.

How do I maintain a coated vehicle?

Regular gentle washes with pH-neutral shampoo, no automatic brush washes, and periodic professional decontamination + booster (which is what our Maintenance plans handle). Detailed care instructions are provided after every coating job.

Pricing & Tiers

Why isn't every price listed on the site?

Vehicle size, paint condition, and selected add-ons make a wide range of final pricing. Posting one number creates more confusion than transparency. Quotes are confirmed during inspection — no upsells, no surprises mid-job.

What's the cheapest option to start with?

For a vehicle in average condition, an Exterior Refresh Detail starts at $149. For a vehicle headed toward ceramic coating, you'd combine a Correction Detail + Pro3 — quoted together starting around $1,200 depending on size and prep.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?

Booking is paid via Urable. For higher-tier coating + PPF combinations we can split into deposit + completion payment. Reach out if you'd like to discuss.
